Fishermans Landing Staff
Boats fishing on 1.5 trips and longer are starting to see and catch a few bigger Bluefin up to 150 pounds. They are being caught on knife jigs, sinker rigs and the sinker jig (Eddie Bomb). The daytime fish are being caught on flyline and 100 to 150 gram Colt Sniper and Zakana jigs. We have Full day to 3 day trips fishing offshore for Bluefin tuna and Yellowtail.

The Tomahawk returned this morning from a 2 day trip with 12 Bluefin Tuna (3 @ 60-80Lbs) (1 @ 110lbs) for 17 anglers.
The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 23 Bluefin Tunas and 12 Yellowtail for their 3 day trip for 24 Anglers.

The Dolphin AM trip caught 234 Rockfish for their 50 anglers.
The Dolphin PM trip caught 94 Rockfish for their 28 anglers.
The Liberty called in with 32 yellowtail and 3 bluefin for 38 anglers on a full day trip.
The Cobalt returned from an overnight trip with 27 yellowtail and 1 bluefin for 6 anglers.
The Fortune returned this morning with 36 Bluefin Tuna for 14 anglers on a 2 day trip.
The Pegasus returned this morning with 32 Bluefin Tuna (5 @ 120-150 lbs and the rest @20 - 100 lbs) and 10 Yellowtail. on a 1.5 day trip with 20 anglers.
The Mustang returned this morning with 10 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowtail, on a 1.5 day trip with 28 anglers.
We want to urge all customers that are fishing with us this year to please make your FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS as soon as you book your fishing trip. If you DO NOT HAVE A FISH PROCESSING RESERVATION when you get back to the dock there is a chance they will not be able to process your fish. Most boats will be preparded to fillet your fish for a fee, should you be unable to get fish processing reservation.
