Hello from Mono Village on Upper Twin Lake:

Our grocery store, gift shop, cafe, bar, and boat house are now open full time. More spots in our campground are continuing to be cleared daily.

Update on Upper Twin: we have been working daily to break up as much ice as possible. We were unable to open the entire lake but do have a good amount of open water outside of our marina. There is also lots of open shoreline along Upper Twin for fishing. Our boat rentals will only be allowed to go out into the water we have open as conditions allow, decision will be made by our boat house crew morning of. Our entire marina is ice free and all docks are in.

We will still be holding our Opening Weekend fishing derby. $200 cash prize for heaviest catch caught on Upper Twin. Must be pre registered at out boat house, $10 buy in. Each registration comes with souvenir Mono Village cup.
