We returned home this morning from an incredible two day trip. We scratched away our first night with steady fishing on 40-70# Bluefin with some larger ones in the mix. Our second day was slow for us during day time. With the amount of sign we saw we decided to hang tight with only catching a few during daylight hours. Once the sun went down we had a few stops in short order picking up a dozen more and right at the final hour we ran in to a school of big ones. As good as it gets knife jig fishing on 100+ pound fish with some 50-70 pounders in the mix. When the dust had settled the deck was full of beautiful grade Bluefin and 30 of those fish going over the 100# mark. A truly amazing opportunity and experience. Jackpot winner for the trip goes to James Degidio with a 217# Bluefin. We are back out on another two day trip and we are excited to get back out there. We will check in later.
