Help Us Save Our Kelp Forests

Tradewinds Charters is committed to operating our business in ways to promote the sustainability of our Harbor and Ocean.  Kelp Forests are depleting in our oceans, and especially in front of Depoe Bay.  We know how crucial our Kelp Forests are to keeping our Rockfish and Whale populations healthy.   We love to help create memories and experiences as you view the majestic Gray Whales or catch and bring home our delicious fish that we are lucky enough to have in our waters, but it's also important to us that we share the importance of the sustainability of these resources and give everyone an opportunity to play a part in helping preserving them.

We are now a Partner with ORKA (Oregon Kelp Alliance) and have adopted an OPT out program where our amazing customers can now be educated on the importance of our Kelp Forests and can donate $1 to ORKA.  We also have a direct link to ORKA’s website where you can go and donate directly. We appreciate any help in preserving these amazing resources for generations to come.

If you would like to go fishing or whale watching with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
