Aqueduct flows remained wide open which made for tougher fishing conditions. The best bet has been to soak chicken liver, cut baits, and dip bait for catfish. Striped bass fell for many of those same baits, and we expect the striper bite to really take off in the coming weeks. Carp anglers reported a decent bite while using carp dough bait. Largemouth fell for finesse baits in eddies before and after check gates.

Castaic Lake: The lake rose to 75 percent of capacity, and it looks like we may reach full pool for the spring
Pyramid Lake, CA: Water conditions remain dirty due to continued storms
