Yellowfin Take Over

Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; Well things just keep getting better and better. We had an outstanding day of tuna fishing. Our morning started around 05:30, and boy it was game on.
We had 40-70-pound fish on the bite, with a few in the 120 to 160 range. But the two lucky anglers today, with fish over 200 pounds.
First Victor Long, hooked up around 06:00, and after a long 2 hour and 45-minute battle, Victor would be the winner of a 203-pound Giant Yellowfin tuna
Then we have John Collins, on a fly line sardine, and after another long battle, John would be the victor of a 263-pound giant Yellowfin tuna.
With only a few Wahoo being caught, we spent most of the day catching Yellowfin tuna, and getting our last well ready for fish in the morning
Weather continues to be excellent, with flat seas, clear skies and warm. We had a visitor today, and wheal shark, started swimming around the boat, for about 30 minutes it would swim from the bow of the boat to the stern. I guess it was enjoying the good weather also.
Not much more going on, but good times and lots of fun. So until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p
