It's our third annual Fishing Derby at Bogart Regional Park! The weekend of April 1 & 2 is set aside for FISHING!

 

Kids fish Saturday, adults fish Sunday - and there are prizes!
It's just $10 per kid to register for their one-hour time slot on Saturday, and it's $30 for adults to register to fish for a 3 hour time slot Sunday - let's talk about that!

 

(Did you know that just the entry fee into Bogart for one vehicle for day use is $10? On a regular day, a fishing pass will cost $14-$18 depending on your age. Your fishing derby registration includes the fee of getting in, fishing, and you don't need a state fishing license to fish in the derby event!)

AFTER the derby ends Sunday, and once the awards are given out, if you have wristband from Saturday or Sunday's derby you can fish the rest of Sunday after the adult derby for free! Stick around until the sun goes down (that's when our day use area and the pond shut down daily).

 

So this is a DEAL, and it's so much fun!

 

You'll need to bring your own pole and kids will need to bring power bait to use in their derby. (Kids fish with power bait only.)
