Ice conditions are highly variable

Utah Division of Wildlife

Ice conditions are highly variable and the lake has abundant slush right now. Ice and slush near the main ramp are manageable, but please use extreme caution if you decide to take a snowmobile out onto the main lake. Fishing has been slow for most species, but anglers have been able to pick up a few brown trout, tiger trout and some yellow perch. There have been no reports of wiper caught through the ice this year. State Parks' crews have maintained the parking to the lower turnaround area of the main ramp.
