Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Rusty
With this cold weather front the fishing has taken a back seat. Up on Lake Mohave anglers are reporting of fish on their sonar but they are just holding and no activity. Even the shad boils are not bringing them in to feed.
Here below the Davis Dam along our shores of the Colorado River its a bit slow also. We are still getting a nice trout plant but no striper activity. And yes, its me holding a nice size pan fish and a largemouth bass. I had landed these a while back and released right after the picture. A great place to locate these fish is the Laughlin bay area. I was using a Z Manns tube jig in the pp&j color. We are still getting a great trout plant so your spinners and power bait should do very well even some night crawlers will bring these rainbow trout to your table.
For this time of year its community park and Davis camp that are being stocked. The Topock Marsh area is real slow mostly because of the low water releases. The water is so low that you can't get your boat off the trailer, this will pick up as our water flows will increase soon.
Hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story most of all thanks so much for all of your support.
