Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone; Wow, what a day we had today. Our morning started out with a bang, and we sat all day long. Once we started getting Yellowfin in the 50 to 90 pound range, everything change to 90-120 category. Largest fish caught today was by luck angler John "Birdman" Fairchild. John fish would weigh in as 353 pounds. So far largest Yellowfin of the season. Can't stop there Gary Teraoka would get a 267, and it looked like a 150 pounder sitting next to John's fish. Greg "BGC" Curry would be the next lucky angler to get a 210. All giants caught on the kite.
Kite Master Dharyl Shelbourne has had his hands full on this trip, but yesterday was over the top. We only had two passengers time out after an hour on the kite. We put up each angler three times yesterday, what a day. That's over 70 anglers go up and get busy. Alan Wettig started everything out, and he landed 3 out of three on the kite. But the sharks had there fill of the kite, but they didn't hurt the hook to land catch. We put down an impressive number of Yellowfin yesterday.
We will try to make a couple of tanks of bait tonight, and do it all over again. Weather continues to get better and better each day. We had 8-12 knots of breeze, very little seas, and sunny. We are hoping things will be about the same tomorrow. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, Team R/p
