Shore anglers reported decent trout fishing
1-13-2023
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The lake rose to 48 percent of capacity, and water tamps have been near 56 degrees. Debris continue to prevent launching, and when anglers do get a boat on the chocolate milk colored water it’s been hazardous due to all the floating logs. Shore anglers reported decent trout fishing along the dam and near the Marina. The prior trout plant occurred last week, and Castaic seems to receive plants on an almost weekly basis. There were few reports for bass and striper as most anglers headed to cleaner water lakes.
