This time of year brings out some of our larger fish, which is what Mike Jones found out. He landed this nice size striper while fishing from shore in the Rotary Park area. He was using an ac plug to land this beast. I have heard that the Community Park area is also a great spot with a few of these stripers being brought in.

Also on the list for our anglers is the trout that we are getting from the Willow Beach Hatchery. This once a week event usually lands on one  or to of the stocking sites. Rotary park is a great spot along with Community Park. Anglers are having success using various spinners and power bait or night crawlers.

Not much word from up on the lake as of yet. I am assuming its the holidays so we should be getting some news soon. I did hear about boils of shad just out side of the Katherine Landing area. By boat or shore Lake Mohave is a great lake to fish.
