Fish Report for 12-16-2022
Fishing has been fair in the aqueduct
12-16-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Fishing has been fair in the aqueduct with fewer reports than normal. Successful anglers used cut sardines, anchovies, lugworms, and jumbo live minnows after check gates for bites. Striper also fell for small swimbaits, jerkbaits, and Gitzits. After about 10 am most of the action has been on the bottom until evening. There was a report of an angler nabbing a DD lineside on an 8 inch swimbait. The largemouth bass bite slowed way down, but a few persistent anglers reported a handful of bass on finesse baits in slower moving water. Catfish went for chicken liver, cut baits, and dip bait.
