We recently went halibut fishing with Captain James Smith on the California Dawn out of Berkeley Marina. Not only did Captain Smith put us on some nice halibut, but we got some striped bass too! Here is SFR reporter Mike Margrave with a nice SF Bay halibut. Click here for the pictures and story

The California Dawn is fishing out of Berkley Marina and is having some great fishing! Today they had 24 anglers scoring with 22 Halibut to 31 pounds - 5 of them were over 20 pounds; along with 6 nice Striped bass and 3 Leopard Sharks.
