Hat Creek is definitely cooling off and the valley saw some snow over the first part of the week. If you go be on the lookout for Blue Wing Olives and midges. You will get some other insects coming off in the Powerhouse Riffle. If you are looking for some great fishing now, you should check out the Lower Sac or Trinity. There are some big fish being caught on the Lower.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, Rubberlegs, Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, and Green Drakes
