Hi Gang,

We spent the better part of two and a half days on the Hurricane Bank with moderate success. We never saw any volume of bigger fish with the time we spent there. We had good life and good sign of both wahoo and smaller tuna, just not enough bigger fish to keep us there. It has the feeling that our timing was a little off for big ones. Our conditions changed a couple of different times while we were there and that has a lot to do with that place being right. We ended up catching 77 wahoo and tagged 68 tuna that were mostly 20 to 40 pounds. We ended up with 5 tuna over 100 pounds and the largest was right at 130 pounds landed by Sam Miyamoto. All in all a good start to our trip. We will be trying for big tuna on the Lower Banks starting tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
