The water temperature is 63 degrees in most areas of the lake. Water levels should remain stable with slight increases as winter fill begins. Fall rainbow trout have been stocked and are 7-9 inches right now. There are still a fair number of spring stocked rainbows in the system that have reached a length of 17-18 inches. Bluegill are stacked up along the dam and are now in a fall/winter holding pattern. Largemouth bass fishing has been good; fish are transitioning into deeper water now but are still actively feeding on small bluegill. Fishing has been great this fall and will continue to be good until ice-on. For more information about Steinaker State Park please visit the Utah State Parks webpage.
