  • The Tribute returned from their 1.5 Day this morning with a nice haul of sizable Bluefin for their 22 anglers. They had 23 Bluefin with 16 of them weighing in over 100 pounds! If you are headed out on a 1.5 Day soon we recommend having some bigger gear in your arsenal. The Tribute also has open spots for their upcoming Overnight trip departing this Thursday.

  • The Voyager returned from their 1.5 Day with 6 very nice Bluefin for their 9 anglers. 2 of them weighed in at 130 pounds and another at 170 pounds!

  • The San Diego reported in from their Full Day today with very good signs of Bluefin. Captain Ryan said they spent most of their day moving on spots of fish including big spots of foamers but they were all very hard to hook. If you are headed out soon he recommended having a 20 or 25# setup with size 2 or 4 hooks for flylining smaller sardines, a 30# outfit with a 2/0 hook for the larger sardines and for those wanting to throw jigs some 60-100g colt snipers.
