The Metolius has been fishing well
10-14-2022
Fly and Field Outfitters
The Metolius has been fishing well. Good dry fly opportunities are still around and excellent nymphing during non hatch times. A variety of caddis, green drakes, BWO’s and PMD’s are all smart to have on hand for a trip to the Met. Nymphing has been great and an october caddis trailed by a small mayfly or caddis nymph is tough to beat. For targeting bulls, large streamers stripped, swung or dead drifted can be effective. The Met is a gorgeous place to spend a fall day so get out there and get after some fish
