These numbers in the summary are based on totals from fishing methods (Boat or Shore).
64% of Anglers fish by Boat, 30% by shore, 6% other
86% LCT caught (released and harvested) were by boat (1,188 LCT), and14% by shore (199 LCT)
Anglers fishing by boat had the most success, which correlates with LCT being at deeper depths, where their optimal temperature is 56 degrees.
This opener weekend had the warmest water temps from past few years. Trending towards warmer water at the surface.
