FISHING REPORT 9/29/22: While the offshore rockfish catching has been good, with a good size average....Lingcod fishing has been painfully slow since the Sept 1 opener. Not sure what's to blame, we usually enjoy awesome catching out on the Deep Reef trips this time of year. We hope for a change soon, but for now the Light Tackle Bottom Fishing remains a great option for a budget friendly way to get out on the water and enjoy some catching. Limits of Black Rockfish have been coming in regularly on these trips, with a few lingcod here and there. Crabbing has been good all around! We expect to be able to fish and crab through Oct 15 this year, weather permitting. See you out there!
