Charkbait 6 day update 26 Sept

Royal Polaris Crew
We dropped anchor around 0430 after a bumpy ride in, It didn’t take long for the fish to find us, As I watched the plotter to make sure we weren’t dragging crew member Bill hooks a nice White Sea bass and it was game on from there. We started to put sea bass and yellowtail on the boat. By first call for lunch we had several yellowtail and a few White Sea bass on the boat, We continued to scratch at it, until we got word that the weather was laying down offshore so we gave it a try for the BFT grounds. Well once we got offshore it didn’t take long for us to determine that the sea state was not to our favor! And decided that for the safety of the passengers and the boat we would head back in and fish the coast until the sea state is in out favor. With that’s said we are going to fish we’re we got the White Sea bass. Wish us luck
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

9-25-2022We arrived at the spot around 10:30 hours and it didn’t take long for the yellowtail to find us!!. It seemed like that every bait of jig that hit the water was attacked by a gang of yellowtail!!!. We had our daily limits by noon. The yellowtail were 15-18 lbs with a few bigger ones. After getting all we needed on the yellowtail we headed offshore to look for kelps, Hopefully we will find Dorado and Yellowfin tuna under them...... Read More
