Today marks another great day of Whale Watching! The captains and crewmates of the fleet were able to guide our guests to amazing whale encounters on each trip.

Now on to my favorite part of every whale watch report, the fun facts! Did you know, while you may have heard the rumors of people being swallowed by whales, this is actually physically impossible! Baleen whales (all but one species) cannot swallow anything bigger than a grapefruit. Their throats simply aren’t big enough. Which explains why the main portion of their diets consist of small crustaceans. The small creatures they feed on often live on the seafloor, making those great tail shots possible when they dive down to feed.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet these majestic animals in person.

If you would like to go fishing or whale watching with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
