Fish Report for 2-2-2006

After last night we did not have anybody fishing until around lunch and unfortunately that time frame between breakfast and lunch is when the current was best. The afternoon produced a fair amount of yellowfin that were mostly 80 to 100 pounds with a few 175 to 260 in the mix. We picked up a 201for Phil Ruemmler and a 262 for Dennis Emken until dark. After dinner we had a shot at a couple of big ones and lost two of the three that we hooked. Gelen Steward picked up a 210 on a sardine and a sinker rig. after that we had a few 130 to 185 pound yellowfin. The current died again at midnight and most of the angler's went to bed. With no passengers to keep the chunk line honest the crew soaked a couple of baits and when they got bit at 0200 the bite was back on and there was a 140 and a 240 on the deck when the passengers awoke. We ended up getting 4 more 200 plus pound yellowfin and finished our night bite with 17 total fish and the majority was 185 to 245. We will check in again tomorrow with a full report. Shawn and the crew
