A Good Start
8-17-2022
Royal Polaris Crew
Today was the first day of fishing. We got into the zone at 09:30 and started fishing yellowtail. We had to weed through some smaller fish but we managed plenty of nice yellows. We also tried for Yellowfin Tuna but they weren’t bitting due to fishing pressure from the tuna seiners. We ended up with 8 tuna that’s were 25-35 pounds. We also had a nice hit on a kelp full of dorado. Everybody had a chance to catch several dorado before we go on the move. Once the sun set we started out way down to a lower zone where we anchored up for a nice chicken dinner. We will be fishing starting first thing tomorrow. Until then, good luck to the Royal Polaris!
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
