Another hot Shasta Lake bite
8-13-2022
Scott Caldwell
Shasta Lake spoiled first time fisher woman Krystal White with a 30 fish day, mostly fat dinner bows, one heck of a kokanee, and a nice bass, and rad weather.
The Trout bite has been fantastic. The Rainbows are fat ( 2 to 5 pounds) and feeding heavy on the shad now. Trolling between 40 an 80 feet has been the most productive zone. We did catch fish as deep 110 feet amd as high as 25 feet. Shad imitation plugs and spoons behind dodgers lathered in ProCure threadfin shad gel were my hot producers.
