How's it going everyone! Today's spotlight is on Trey who caught this awesome 5lb bass out of Lake 5 on a nightcrawler! The bass bite has been great recently. Anglers have been having success using swim baits, top water baits, jerkbaits, and nightcrawlers. If you have small children with you then having them fish for bluegill might be the best bet. They have been biting like crazy. The bluegill have been hitting on mealworms and waxworms. If you're interested in catfish our last catfish stock was in Lakes 2 and 3 about two weeks ago and our next stock will be this Friday the 12th! Anglers have been catching catfish off of Stinkbait, shrimp, nightcrawlers, garlic nightcrawlers, and mackerel! The general store opens at 9am for all your bait and tackle needs. We hope to see you out here!
