Fish Report for 8-4-2022

Tim Ekstrom

Worked up the stunning Southern Baja coast spot fishing for exotics along the way. I can't report that the exotic pursuit was a success but we added handsomely to our yellowtail tally and set the lunch menu for tomorrow. In addition the coastal action produced plenty of yankin' and crankin' as bites were abundant. And it was beautiful weather; flat calm. Saving a couple of hours for a few drifts in the morning we bid the southern zone farewell following a delightful dinner in the calm lee of the island. Today's image features Royal Star angler Andrew Lakin with his jumbo, 44 pound yellowtail he picked off on the dropper loop fished in the dark.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
