After a few days of fog a nice sunny day is certainly welcome in Depoe Bay. The wonderful weather makes great conditions for a boat ride. Regardless of the weather, the whales are here all summer and are happy to hang out. You may notice on your ride that we can’t get too close to the whales on approach, but they will get right up next to the boats of their very own power! These animals are smart and know that we are there. These individuals are resident Gray Whales that have been co-existing with us for years. They are very social and like to come check things out when they know we’re in the area. A few of them even have their very own nicknames! Come out with us to meet these incredible denizens of the sea. Book your next trip online or over the phone at (541) 765-2345.
If you would like to go fishing or whale watching with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.

We are home to over 100 reefs that contain miles and miles of kelp. This kelp houses the small crustaceans that the Gray Whales eat 1 to 2 tons every day. What a mouthful!...... Read More
