Jungle heat underpinned our fishing today that was steady on school size yellowfin tuna and wahoo as advertised. Near grease calm with persisting south and southwest rollers the ride was fine while we plugged away at the eager, abundant gamefish surrounding this zone. Following an action packed day of "fun in the sun" anglers were satisfyingly drained. A festive atmosphere reigned on deck where shirtless revelers sweated in the relatively cool breeze still laden with humidity. Stuck fast to the bottom for the night we look forward to another day in this zone tomorrow. Photo today features long time Royal Star angler and friend John Finneran with this nice wahoo he landed on the live bait.
