Chances

We had a few chances and then some converting on them a little less than preferred. It happens. Between one hundred pound class bluefin ambushing anglers targeting 40-60's with lighter gear, a rolling sea state, and plain old luck of the draw sometimes the fish get the better end of the odds. After a full day of fish watching patiently angling for the occasional bite, then a good hearted night effort that produced nothing we opted to slide down the line in favor of variety and action fishing tomorrow. I can say with 100% certainty that the change of pace and setting will be enjoyed by all. Speaking of enjoying Royal Star angler Chuck Wilson enjoyed his triumph over this 50 pound class bluefin today.
