As our weather warms up so does the striper bite so to say. That is here along the shores of the Colorado River below the Davis Dam. Our local and visiting anglers are having some success by boat or shore as we have a lot of great spots to throw out a line or your favorite lure. I would recommend a glide or swim bait in a trout pattern or the white or bone color have proven some success.

Up on Lake Mohave I have being getting word that trolling with an ac plug or an umbrellas rig has been working well . Early morning  fishing with anchovies in various coves has produced a few in the 3 to 6 pound range you might want to chum a bit first.

Below the dam anchovies have been working well. Our local angler Mark Baroldy was fishing in the bend area and landed this nice 5.56 pound striper at 26 inches. The casino area is another great spot to try and the down river shore of community park has been doing well.

Not much word from the marsh area which I hope we get some news as the large mouth bass and the catfish should be on the prowl. hope this helps some for now and we look forward to seeing you in soon to share that catch and your story mostly thanks so much for all of your support.
