Fish Report for 7-22-2022

Nymphing has been the best method

7-22-2022
Fly and Field Outfitters

The Metolius is fishing well. Nymphing has been the best method in terms of numbers of fish but caddis, PMD’s, and golden stones are making for fun dry fly opportunities on some days and are worth having in your box. For nymphs some of our favorites are spanish bullets, rainbow warriors, two-bits, and golden stones.

Suggested Dries: Purple Haze #14-18, Hackle Stacker Baetis #18-20, Parachute Baetis #16-20, Tiltwing #18-20, Comparadun #16-22,
