Hi Gang,

We arrived home from ouir annual JIm's Custom Rods 3 day with a nice catch of fish. Our final count  was limits of reds, limits of ling cod, 52 yellowtail, 5 dorado, and 7 sheepshead. With marginal weather our first couple of days and offshore productivity in decline, we opted to spend a little time fishing near the coast. Everyone had a blast and we experienced some incredible shallow water rockfishing. On our last day we had a great yellowtail bite offshore. Our jackpot winners are as follows: third place went to John Remen with a 20.3 pound yellowtail, second place went to Lou Kohn with a 25.1 pound yellowtail, and first place goes to Erik Petersen with a 27.9 pound yellowtail. Strong work men! We would like to extend a big thank you to our trip host JIm Ptacnik for being such a great host and for his generosity. Jim also celebrated his birthday with us on July 7th.
