HI Gang,
Wow! What a trip this turned out to be. We finished up last night with an absolutely wide open night bite on bluefin. We drove away from biting fish with our daily limits. Our final fish count for the trip was 36 White Sea Bass up to 50 pounds, 97 Bluefin Tuna up to 100 pounds, 1 halibut, 1 barracuda, and a bunch of quality reds and shallow water rockfish caught mostly less than 150 feet. An incredible experience. Thank you to Larry Brown for putting this trip together and thank you to everyone that fished with us. It was a pleasure. We have a 0945 ETA this morning because we were busy catching bluefin last night. We are out again today on an extended 1.5 day trip with Captain Travis Weber at the helm for his first trip as captain of the Intrepid. This is a big deal as I have made sure that the only captains to run trips on the Intrepid for a little over 5 years now have been myself and Sam Moore. Both Sam and myself have full confidence that Travis will continue the standard that has been set and do a great job. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
