Fish Report for 6-28-2022

Coronado islands trips!

6-28-2022
James McDaniels

Coronado Islands Full Day Trips will be starting this week, running for at least a week possibly longer if the tuna bite remains slow offshore. Spots available this week and all through the 4th of July weekend!

Yellowtail, barracuda, Bonito and Calico Bass are all biting, it’s a jig fisherman’s dream!

We don’t like making last minute changes but we also don’t like taking people on 12 hour boat rides offshore when there’s a viable option to have an enjoyable fishing day at the islands. Apologies in advance to people who were booked that don’t have passports, our suggestion would be to come back when the Offshore bite heats up again. Fish are unpredictable and all we can do is try to adjust accordingly to give the majority the possible experience.

Passports will be required. Bring a 25-30 pound live bait outfit, a 40 pound jig rod with your favorite lures, some 2/0 hooks and some sunscreen.

For world class live bait and jig fishing please call H&M Landing (619) 222-1144 or grandesportfishing.com

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 222-1144 to get in on the action.
