New Tackle recommendations
25 pound outfit for Yellowtail fishing
40 to 60 pound outfits to fish smaller Bluefin Tuna. Under 80 pounds
80 to 130 pound outfits for night time fishing and Sinker Rigs.
2/0 to 4/0 ringed hooks. No thin wire hooks
8 to 12oz Sinkers with rubberbands.
150 to 250 gram flatfall and knife jigs for day time fishing. Color doesn't matter right now. Change the stock hooks.
300 to 400 gram flatfall and knife jigs for night time fishing. Color doesn't matter right now. Change the stock hooks.

The Tomahawk called in with 7 Bluefin Tuna (40-60 lbs) for 7 anglers on their 1.5 day trip so far. 

The Islander called in with 22 Bluefin Tuna (40 -180 lbs) for 31 anglers on their 1.5 day trip so far. 

The Pegasus just called in with 23 Bluefin Tuna for 31 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. The fish ranged from 30-110 pounds and still fishing.

The Pacific Queen just called in with 15 Bluefin Tuna (40-150 lbs) for 31 anglers. They're reporting beautiful weather, seeing a lot of fish, and still fishing.

6/19/2022

The Outrider returned with 2 Bluefin tuna for their 9 anglers.

Bight sportfishin's 24' Parker came back with 7 Bluefin tuna up to 100 pounds for four passengers.

The Dolphin AM trip had 44 rockfish, 9 calico bass, 4 sand bass, 2 sheephead, and 1 sculpin with 60 calico bass released for 45 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip had 34 calico bass, 8 rockfish, 3 sheephead, 1 sandbass with 100 calico bass released for 53 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 4 bluefin 100-170lbs. on their full day trip with 12 anglers.

The Pegasus returned with 5 Bluefin Tuna (40 - 130 lbs.) for 21 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Fortune returned this morning with 4 Bluefin Tuna for 21 anglers on a 1.5 day charter. 

The Condor returned this morning with 1 Yelowtail and 1 Bonito for 37 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander returned this morning with 7 Bluefin Tuna for 26 anglers on a 2.5 day trip. 

6/18/2022
The Bight Sportfishing (Freeman 34) caught 3 Bluefin Tuna (182 - 207lbs) for 3 anglers on their full day trip.

The Dolphin 1/2 Day AM caught 4 Sand Bass, 19 Calico Bass/75 released Calico bass, 1 White Fish, 9 Sheephead, 6 Rockfish, and 1 Halibut for 51 anglers. 

The Dolphin 1/2 Day PM caught 75 Calico Bass Released, 32 Calico Bass, 15 Sheephead, 12 Rockfish, 6 Sand Bass, 1 Whitefish for 43 anglers. 

The Mustang caught1 Bluefin Tuna for 21 anglers on their overnight trip.
