Fish Report for 6-17-2022
Stampede Kokanee
6-17-2022
James Netzel
Cold windy morning at Stampede today. But very fishable. And the fish didn’t seem to mind either. Kept 20 plus a cutthroat. Never changed gear as anything pink n green caught fish. Paulina Peak Tackle P Lite dodgers pulling Clown and watermelon UV hoochies and watermelon UV spinners. Difficult to keep 2-3 downriggers in the water. Multiple doubles and triples. Even a few quads make for a quick morning on the water. Best depth was 20-35’ otw with 50’ setbacks trolling at 1-1.2 mph. Go any longer on setbacks and you’re gonna give a pelican an easy meal. Make sure to carry a bucket of rocks in case they get too close. Lol
Have a few seats open this weekend and open for late morning 2nd trips. Also have Tuesday open.
