Mixed bag fishing on Shasta Lake!

Shasta Lake is progressing nicely and we're starting to see a variety of fish coming to the net.  One of Shasta's special features is that you never know what you'll have on the other end of your line this time of the year.  From Catfish, Crappie, bass, trout, and salmon, we catch a great variety some days during the summer months.  As the baby Shad show up and occupy the upper water column of the lake, it goes without saying that all the fish species in the lake will be feeding on them.  Thats why we see so many different kinds of fish caught trolling this time of the year.  It won't last long but its fun when the shad bite going on.  We have Shasta Lake trip dates available through July for anyone who is interested.  Thank you!
