What a day today on Detroit Lake. It started with overcast but calm. Then the rain hit again....Thank you Lonnie & Luana for fighting the fish in the tough weather. You guys are fantastic, always love getting you two on the boat. We gave it another try today. The trout were hitting pretty hard. Only managed to put one 14 inch kokanee on the boat. Only two boats on the water. Running out of ideas. The only thing to do is just keep on trying !!!!! I marked tons of fish on both sides of the island. Caught the kokanee at 13 feet down with a 40 foot set back. I was using a kokaneekid green spin n glow. I' so impressed with the Santiam kokanee rods I'll be ordering more for next season.
