A big Howdy from the High Country!!!!!

We have been CRAZY busy the past month and a half with a host of projects. With a short season we really had very little choice but to get as much done as we could prior to opening because once we open, it's going to be all boats, tackle, pie and grub and the time for improvemtns will be long gone.

Some of these projects...... like the new website, the new reservation system (which goes live this week), the new point of sale system, reparing the phone line, and all of the other boring stuff that has to happen for a business to operate properly, aren't all that interesting.

Other projects.... like the new color scheme and paint to protect the wood. Or a new look inside with new flooring and slatwall to brighten things up, are way more sexy.

We tried our best to get some boats out for the holiday weekend but we just didn't have the time, water or manpower on our side so we had to settle for a bit of an open house of sorts. Still, it was nice to see some smiling faces up on the mountain. Most of the weekend was a bit on the blustery side with quite a bit of wind stiring things up.

Thankfully the overall warmer temps has the lake level rising a couple feet.  Do to the lower lake level shoreline access is exceptional and shoreline anglers have been seen bringing in decent numbers of the stocker sized rainbows. 

A private couple boats have finally been able to launch and navigated to the back of the lake and had great reports with mostly stocker sized rainbows, but due to low water levels there are numerous shallow water hazards, please boat with caution. 

With the minimal boat traffic a number of float tubers & kayakers have been enjoying the quiet & calm lake.

ONLINE RESRVATIONS FOR BOATS AND PONTOONS FOR THE DATES OF 6-20-22 THROUGH 9-6-22 WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY JUNE 1ST!!!!

THE CAFE IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN FRIDAY JUNE 17TH

We're still in the process of getting things rolling and we have a lot of work to do launching boats, staging the dock and getting our PONTOON BOATS ready for the lake.
