The boats are seeing bigger Bluefin up to 200#. Make sure you bring your heavy gear. If you don't have heavy gear make sure you rent it here at Fisherman's Landing (Fisherman's Landing boats only).

Tackle recommendations
25 pound outfit for Yellowtail fishing
40 to 60 pound outfit for day time fishing with smaller size jigs. 80 to 150 grams jigs 
80 to 100 pound outfits for night time fishing with medium to larger 200 to 500 grams jigs.

The half day fishing has picked up quite of bit with water tempatures above 66 degrees today. There was great Calico Bass fishing with sign of local Yellowtail!

The Dolphin AM caught 1 Sand Bass, 4 Sculpin, 7 Calico Bass (30 RELEASED), 2 Whitefish, and 42 Rockfish for 43 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM caught 2 Sand Bass, 3 Sculpin, 10 Calico Bass (RELEASED), and 15 Rockfish for 31 anglers. 

The Liberty called in with 46 Bluefin Tuna (10 between 90-160 lbs) for day 1 of a 2 day trip. 

The Mustang called in with 10 Bluefin Tuna on their Overnight trip for 28 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for 25 anglers on the first 2 days of their 3 day trip. These fish are between 30 to 50 lbs. with 2 @ 90 lbs. 

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS (38) of Bluefin Tuna (20 to 30 lbs.) for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Condor called in with 37 Yellowtail, and 1 Bluefin Tuna for 24 anglers to start their 3 day trip. 

The Dolphin 1/2 Day AM caught 48 Rockfish, 10 Sculpin, 8 Calico Bass, 8 Sheephead, 5 Sand Bass for 32 anglers. 

The Dolphin 1/2 Day PM caught  50 Calico Bass Released, 27 Calico Bass, 18 Sheephead, 10 Rockfish, 5 Sand Bass for 12 anglers. 

Bight Sportfishing just called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (3 over 125lbs and 1 @ 20lbs) for 4 anglers on the 34 Freeman!

The Mustang called in with 14 Yellowtail on thier Overnight trip for 20 anglers.

The Pegasus returned this morning with LIMITS (36) of Bluefin Tuna (averaging between 75 and 110 lbs.) for 18 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Condor returned this morning with LIMITS (36) of Bluefin Tuna (up to 175) for 18 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (68) of Bluefin Tuna (48 were between 90 and 180 lbs. ) and 42 Yellowtail for 34 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander is returning this morning with LIMITS (54) of Bluefin Tuna (20 to 150 lbs.) for 27 anglers for a 1.5 day trip. 

The Fortune is returning this morning with LIMITS (72) of Bluefin Tuna for 18 anglers on an extended 1.5 day trip.
