Fly and Field Outfitters
We have been hearing good reports from the Metolius. Consistent PMD hatches have been producing good afternoon dry fly opportunities. Expect to see a variety of caddis as well as May moves along. Green drakes are a few weeks out so make sure to stock up on those. Nymphing remains consistent and a golden stone or green drake nymph followed by a small caddis pupae or mayfly nymph is a great way to go. Streamers and large nymphs to target bulls are the best methods. It’s tough to beat a spring day on the Metolius so get out there and catch some fish!
