STEVE CARSON "URBAN TROUT" SEMINAR AT BASS PRO SHOP

The Bass Pro Shop location in Rancho Cucamonga will feature a November 7 appearance and free seminar presentation by Steve Carson, Pro-Staffer at Irvine Lake and Director of Penn Fishing University.

Just in time for the winter season, Carson's free seminar will be "Urban Trout Fishing"; tips and tricks for the "pay to play" lakes. Discussion topics will include baits, rigging, trolling lures, casting lures, and even how to make the hot new "Power Mouse".

Carson is ranked #3 in the world among IGFA members for the most different species of fish caught on rod and reel [229], is also a pro-staffer for Berkley, Rapala, Flambeau, Owner Hooks, and numerous other tackle companies, and has been the Tournament Director for major fishing events in Alaska and Baja California..

Well-known to Southern California radio audiences as "The Walking Encyclopedia of Fishing", Steve will also be available at the conclusion of the seminar for one-on-one consultation. Terrific prizes after the seminar will include free passes to Irvine Lake, Power Bait and more..

Irvine Lake catfish still chewing; trout opener slated for November 6 Good numbers of catfish are still on tap at Irvine Lake, reported general manager Dave Noyes. "Plenty of eating-size cats from 2 to 6-pounds are on the stringers this week, but a few of the big ones are still around to be caught", commented Noyes.
