We departed on our open party 3 day trip yesterday with a good load of bait and we made our way to the fishing grounds. We started our fishing day right before dinner time and saw very little sign of fish. But we were in the zone were we have had really good fishing our previous days so we decided to keep it honest and try when the sun went down. At about 9PM we landed on a school that sucked up to the boat and we immidiately got to work. We kept 8-12 fish going for the better part of two hours before the school had left us. When it was all over we had our daily limits of beautiful 20-30# fish. 300 gram knife jigs seemed to work the best for us. After we were done we made a move and landed on a few more schools just after midnight and put together a great night of 100+ pound fish with some 40-60 pounders in the mix. We are at it again and we are already seeing really good sign of fish this morning. We will check in later.
