Hi Gang,

Leaving early on our day and a half trips are paying off. We departed yesterday morning at 1030, put on a nice load of bait and the Everingham Bait Co. recievers, and we were steaming south before lunch. We arrived on scene late afternoon and started seeing good sign of fish right away. We got on a nice school late and had a drift for 7 or 8 just before dark with fish up to 60 pounds. Once it got dark it was go time. We were stopping on schools and getting steady bites on mostly 40 to 60 pound fish. We had limits of bluefin for our first day of fishing by 2330. Shortly after midnight we got on another school and had one of our better stops of the night. At around 0300 we started seeing bigger fish that were 80 to 90 pounds. By 0400 we had limits of bluefin for our second day and the last 8 or 9 fish were in the 80 to 90 pound range. Wow! What an amazing night. 104 bluefin tuna before the sun came up. We are looking for yellowtail today before we return tomorrow morning. We have an 0500 ETA. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
