Today Bait n Wait Fishing Charters had the honor to fish with KPO President Joe Moritz. Thank you Joe for a fantastic day on the water. We started a little slow, but due to my tenacity to pursue those silvery kokanee I knew I would find the bitters. Thanks to Joe's patience we managed to put 17 nice kokanee in the box. We did loose 9 kokanee during the battle, but hey, that's kokanee fishing !!! I can't shout loud enough about my new Santiam Kokanee rods I have purchased, they are the best rods for kokanee retention. Today kokaneekid pink mysis, & twisted hoochies connected well, along with the action from Arrow- Fast dodgers.
If you would like to try these rods and experience the thrill of kokanee fishing please give me me a shout. I have a few seats in June still open. August is filling fast as well. Call or text now !!!
 
PS....Thanks Joe for filleting your own fish, that never happened before, I'm usually the one slicing.......
