Drydock update for the Sea Wolf

Drydock update for the Sea Wolf!
To avoid supply chain issues and ensure sufficient time was provided for our transmissions to be rebuilt, Jon Yokomizo drove them up to the West Coast location for the manufacturer, ZF Marine Propulsion Systems, in Mukilteo, Washington on January 20th. We were told the job would be completed in 3 – 4 weeks. The transmissions have been sitting there ever since, with ongoing reassurances from the ZF team that the parts were on the way and the rebuild would be completed soon.
We have just been notified that ZF has been misrepresenting this for months and not only are the parts not on the way but the manufacturer in Italy does not even have the materials needed to produce them. Right now, there is a mad scramble to locate the parts from various distributors and mechanics in North America (this SHOULD have been done back in January instead of waiting until now).
Because of this delay, we will be unable to begin our season on April 1st and do not have a firm date for when we will be able to start running. The Fish Emeryville Sportfishing Center is working with customers whose trips are impacted. We are working aggressively to get back on the water as soon as possible and will keep you updated on our progress. #ZFfail
