Mark Your Calendar For The Final VIRTUAL CARB Hearing
2-23-2022
Ken Franke
CARB continues to use flawed engine emission data that overestimates the impact of your vessel has on air quality and they have shown NO indication that they will reverse course on regulations that will remove passenger sportfishing and whale watching boats from service.
"We assume that a majority if not all sport-fishing boats have to be replaced to comply." CARB Staff, Los Angeles Times, Nov. 19, 2021
We would like to draw your attention to the following news stories, in particular the ABC-7 story. It undermines CARB’s longstanding belief that their engine emission regulations are economically feasible.
Thank you again for your support. The March hearing is our last chance to have our voice heard! CLICK HERE to RVSP for the hearing. And make sure to sign the petition atwww.savefishing.com/petition.
