Baum Lake is in great shape, there are a ton of fish, midges and Baetis are coming off daily and I don't know why I'm still in the shop typing this. Zebras in brown and black, sizes #16 - 20, stripped or under an indicator are good strategies. Sweet Peas, under an indicator, or Jigged Quills in silver or copper, will work too. Balanced Leeches, Crystal Buggers, these are go-to's on this lake. Bring all of your smaller Adams and Parachute Adams, you should get a chance to cast over some noses here. Fall River: Most of the anglers are chasing steelhead and large rainbows right now
Hat Creek: The snow is all gone and the weather is beautiful on Hat Creek
Klamath River - Middle: The snow is all gone up around the upper Klamath and the river has some color to it
Sacramento River - Lower: The river is really shaping up for a great spring
McCloud River: The McCloud is in good shape again for sure!
Trinity River: There are still quite a few adult steelhead in the river with more heading up from the Klamath
Sacramento River - Upper: The river is in pretty good shape from the top down to Simms at least
Shasta Lake: Fishing has slowed some on the lake

Sacramento River - Grimes: We are seeing a gradual clearing and the water from Bonnyview Bridge downstream
McCloud River: The McCloud is in good shape again for sure!
Pit River: Large flows continue to be the story on the Pit
Trinity River: Nothing new to report here - we are still seeing new fish in the system
Sacramento River - Upper: The river is in pretty good shape from the top down to Simms at least
